Team Knitting
No previous knitting experience is required to participate in this philanthropic team building program. Of course,
neither are you excluded if it so happens you have years of knitting experience. All levels are welcome. Our knitting
teacher is one of the best and has something to offer everyone from the novice to the artisan. There are two
Team Knitting projects you have to choose from:
Patchwork Blankets
Even the first-time knitter will be able to contribute to this project. After some instruction each participate knits
squares - as many or as few as they are able in the allotted time. The squares are then assembled into beautiful, patchwork blankets.
No two are ever alike. The blankets are then shipped to our troupes overseas. Believe it or not it gets very cold even in the desert.
Chemo Caps
For groups who want more of a challenge than knitting squares, we have numerous patterns for chemo caps, all levels
of pattern from easy to very
difficult. This too is a philanthropic team building program as we donate the caps to cancer patients.
